Yes, years ago. Not any more.
One of my beloved friends woke me up, and made me see the light. I will never forget her.
She said "You're too drunk. Don't drive."
I said, "I'll be fine."
She said, "It's not YOU that I am worried about! It is the innocent people that you might kill or main on YOUR way home!"
WOW!!
What an eye-opener! I love her to this day. She probably saved the lives of who-knows how many others, and, mine, as well! |

NO, NEVER!! Because I don't want to die or kill anyone. |

Yup, because i was old enough to know better, but too young to care. I am just happy i didn't kill anyone in those days. I have stopped drinking a long time ago. When you are drunk, you lose your common sense and do stupid things, like wake up beside a stranger. |

No! Never! However, my brother-in-law did recently & got a DUI for the second time. His excuse was that he wanted to get home & didn't think he drank much. He blames the police for hassling him, even though his alcohol level was high & he was weaving in traffic.
I have no respect for him - he could have killed someone & the worst thing is that he wouldn't think it was his fault because he thinks it's always someone else's fault. |

Yes. So drunk I woke up and didn't know where I was. But only on the backrosds. Why, you ask? Liquid courage of course. |

Tipsy, yes, but not REALLY DRUNK. Why - I wanted to come home. There's no place like home. I wanted to sleep in my own bed. |

Yes, when I was young and thought I was invincible. However, after my 16 year old stepson had a few beers, and wrecked causing another boy to die, I don't drive after even one sip of alcohol. PLEASE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE EVER!!! |

oh no!!! no way!! but i do know why people do that. let's say that someone was really depressed. so they go into a bar and have couple of drinks and get drunk. then they have to go home or something, but they know that drinking and driving is bad, but their practically brainwashed so without thinking, they do it! |

Yes when I was younger and because alcohol impaired my thinking and behavior so much that I didn't really care who i could hurt or what would happen to me. |

The last time I drove my car drunk I lost one of my rear view mirrors and broke my bumper (the back part of the car). I ended up paying a huge amount of money to cover the damages before my parents noticed what happened and to get that money I had to work extra shifts at work.
It was a really stupid thing to do, I could have killed myself or an innocent person and the worst part is that I don't remember what did I crash my car into.
My father never found out about the car damage, but when he saw me arriving home completely drunk he did not spoke to me in days.
It wasn't worth it. Thank God I don't drink anymore, nothing good comes from drinking alcohol. |
