willl it be ok if i bring the car to 11 o clock position - roughly 30 degrees- when reversing during parallel parking instead of bringing it to 45 degrees? anybody whos tried it? im finding it hard to get the 45 degrees... everytime i do that, i always hit the curb when backing in the spot, i always miscalculate and ending up getting more than 45...

you can do it at 30, but you'll need more space than you would at 45. the trick is to know exactly when to straighten the car out as you're moving into the slot. try straightening out earlier than you're used to at 45. if you can't, then give yourself more space between your car and the car that's going to be in front of you so you can straighten out earlier. |

When you're turning at 45 degrees, try switching to Celsius instead of the normal Farenheit. |
