18-Wheeler threw a..?

We were coming back and on a small highway, behind an 18-wheeler, when it started smoking from behind, and then threw 3 medium balls, which looked like they were pure metal. One hit my brothers windshield, one landed in the grass, and the other just barely hit the windshield of my sister in laws brand new car. My brother windshield is crack, but my sister in law swerved so the ball barely hit, and it just sratched a little. We took an ext right beside us off the highway, and looked at the windshields, then we went to see if we could find the 18-wheeler. But we sped up the highway,a nd never found it, we think it may have took an exit. So anyways, what could these things that flew out been?

I could understand that, but 3 times? And then the 18 wheller started smoking? I think it was somethin on the 18 wheller that broke off, because it was smoking bad, and after we got hit it was swervin alot and then stopped, but we were already off the highway and at the gas station lookin at the cars. I don't think it was something just on the road. Possibly soemthing from one of its many tires? lol

Sounds like a wheel bearing came apart and on a big rig, he'd never know it. Moral of the story - keep your distance from those monsters so that anything they fling off or kick up has a chance to fall back to earth. |
