im thinking of buying a 1967 mustang and i want to know how it holds up in an accident. i found a really good deal and the only thing holding me back is my concern for the saftey of me and the people i drive around.

LOL. Nothing but lap belts were required back then. No side impact bars in the doors, metal everywhere, no crumple zones; no it won't be safe in a serious crash.

It will be as safe as they made them back then. If it is a good deal go for it mustangs are neat cars.
