65 MPH on the Highway Hit a Deer How Dead Could I Have Been?

I was driving at two am on the highway. A deer at least two hundred pounds came flying out of nowhere and slammed into my car while I was going sixty five miles an hour. How dead could I have been?
I think god was on my side this time like a few others.

A 200 pound deer can easily come straight through the windshield of your car. Usually kicking his legs the whole way.
If it had hit you, it would have killed you.

What kind of question is that? Are there different grades of dead?
Dead, Very Dead, Extremely Dead, Graveyard Dead, Deader than Dead or just Deader then Hell.
I guess it is possible you could be dead,(any or all of the above) but statistically the chances are not great. |

I have read a lot of stories here in Texas where people have hit a deer just going 30mph and were killed so you got pretty lucky. |

For a two hundred pound deer, a normal one, that is, you might have been about 50 percent dead. However, you mentioned it was a flying deer. Deers that have evolved to fly are lethal. You would be pushing 85, maybe even 90 percent dead.
