I quit driving when I was 23. I had parents lecture me for two hours about losing their children in a dui crash. I decided that I would never drive again. I later decided to stop drinking.

7. High school classmates. In one case, 2 were killed in a single-car accident. Another was killed in another single-car accident. And in a third single-car accident, my a friend was in a coma for a month before waking up with memory loss and a lingering speech impediment.

yes my ex boyfriend was the only sober person and he refused to take me home i got in my car and made it home. it was very very stupid of me and that is why i don't drink anymore.
no i've never been in a car with someone under the influence
my cousin alex was killed by a drunk driver last july he was helping a friend change a flat tire on the shoulder of the interstate at three in the morning. he was hit and pinned under the car he died instantly. it's horrible another reason why i no longer drink. |

7 My landscapers son was 17 and was put into a home for juvenile delinquents. He's a really good kid and had 2 beers, hit a woman the wrong way and she was killed. Could it have happened if he was sober, probably. But he had been drinking.
By the way, I rarely drive after drinking and I don't drink much. I know the alcohol will sow down my reaction anyway though. |
