Advice on Hazard Perception, Driving Theory Test?

The test is easy to pass provided you do your homework first.

As others have already suggested you should get a DVD but which one?

We at www.academy.me.uk recommend ALL THE TESTS DVD-ROM to our residential intensive driving course customers as they need to pass quickly. This is by Focus and can be purchased in most good shops, Amazon usually have it at a good price too!

It is not only great for the hazard perception but will help with the written part of the test and driving lessons too. You can even download some to your Ipod!

Just remember the golden rules when taking your hazard perception test and click the mouse on the following;

1. POTENTIAL HAZARD for example when you see a pedestrian walking along the pavement.

2. DEVELOPING HAZZARD for example the pedestrian has now changed course and is walking towards the road.

3. ACTUAL HAZZARD for example when the pedestrian actually steps into the road.

Have a good practice first but watch out for clicking to often as it will wipe your mark out. Should you find this happening then miss out the potential hazard clicks

Make sure you practice and it will be fine, good luck with your driving.

Hi there, Both of these are test that form the official Theory Test.

The theory test consists of 50 questions and i believe you have to get 43 right in order to stay on track to pass the test. These questions will be picked random from the theory book questions which you should practice well in advance to stand any chance of passing. Questions will cover different topics relating to driving and the car.
For e.g. road signs, speed, motorways, signs and signals etc.

Hazard Perception is a stimulation test which consists of 15 video clips of actual footage from inside a car. In each clip you will be tested to spot the hazards looming and will gain points upon how fast you react. There is a point system on this and you will be marked out of 63 so have too get a certain percentage to pass it.

You can purchase a PC DVD-ROM relating to your theory test and hazards. This is really benificial as it is interactive and very enjoyable aswell as educational.

Once you complete the test your theory test on the date booked you will get a slip stating your result at the test centre immediately after completion.

If you passed you will get a cetificate with a dvla stamp which and a cetificate pass number which will enable you to book your practical test and you would have to pass that within two years.
