I'm 17 and will be 18 in August, and i would like to get my permit soon, im just wondering if i have to or should wait til i can walk on both feet before i get my permit.

Your permit is just a written test. If you're able to take a written test with a broken ankle, then go for it. |

Yes you can but if something should happen like an accident and your bad leg was a factor in this you will be sued plus if you are taking any medications for this it will only make the situation harder.......just wait.. |

May want to wait until you are 18 anyway, just to lose some of the restrictions that go with under 18. Most States change the requirements at 18, and then you wouldn't need to log so many hours with the parents and all that. |
