Am i too old to learn how to drive?

I ride my bike to go to school, or sometimes i take a bus. Even though we have a car at home, i still don't feel like learning how to drive it down the road. It doesn't mean i never want to drive a car in my life. But it's just that i don't feel ready yet.
Do you think i'm too old to start to learn how to drive a car? When do you think i will feel ready to do that? Will i be too late because of my age?

I know a 65 year old woman who failed her driving test 7 times before she finally received her license.
I would not wait until I was 65 years old, though.
Take your time. Do not drive because you have to. Make sure that you have a want to learn how to drive. You will have much better results.

And no, I don't think you'll be too old. Learning to drive is a good thing, though, especially if you live in the U.S. like me. The States doesn't have the best public transit system, not like the elaborate rail systems in Europe and Asia, so learning to drive can really come in handy, even if you want to continue riding your bike and walking--which is good, too!
Try to get someone to take you to a nice big parking lot or some place out in the country where you can just drive a wee bit, just to get the feel of the machine. Don't try to go out on roads yet. Just get the feel of it. I practiced on the weekends with my dad in the empty parking lot of my school for a long time before I ventured out on the road.
