Any Tips For My Drivers / Road Test?

I live in New York state and I'm taking my road test tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I will pass. I am good at parallel parking but I do make occasional mistakes. K turns I'm decent. I'm nervous though and I really need any advice I can take.

The main piece of advice I can tell you is to relax. Taking tests when you are stressed or nervous will hurt you more than you know. So relax. It will help you to concentrate better on what you are doing if you are calm. Secondly, get enough rest. Getting the proper amount of sleep before the test will help you to feel refreshed and you will not easily lose focus. You will likely make errors if you are too tired and you won't think straight, so make sure to get plenty of rest the day before. Thirdly, remember all of the things you were taught in driver's ed and in your practice time. Do your best to remember how you utilized the car and what kinds of moves you made during practice. Finally, just be confident. You said you think you will pass, so go with that confidence. The worst thing to do is go into a test too nervous and not sure of yourself. The more confident you are, the better off you will be. Just take your time, get plenty of rest, go slowly, and you wil be fine.

Occasional mistakes do happen because experience counts for so much - that's why it works on a system that allows you some minor mistakes. The best you can do is relax, remember your training, and pay attention. Keep your eyes moving (never stare straight ahead) so you notice all dangers and signs and intersections, and remember to look where you are going, not where you already are, since by then it's to late to do anything about anything you missed that you could have caught otherwise.
