Wear your seat belt.....Geez! ask your family if they mind if you die by being thrown from your vehicle.
It is a little belt that is pulled across you, If you are just whining because you don't want the MAN to tell you what to do. then pay the ticket for no belt and you win. Then when the Cop scrapes you off the pavement into the black bag you can tell him "see I'm OK" oh ya you can't YOU'RE DEAD!
I put my 2 kids in belt from the time they left the hospital at age 0 they are 15 and 20 and they wear theirs like it is second nature, I also wear mine. It's like a new pair of shoes, you'll get used to it..

best thing is to wear it.... I definately would not recommend the "get out of your vehicle even though the cops don't like it tactic" that could very well get you killed or shot.... remember the officer doesn't know you and he may consider this threatening and draw his gun.... ya don't wanna risk this... it's serious |

How hard is it to wear a seatbelt if you are pregnant or overweight they do have extenders
For your safety and possibly staying around a while longer on this planet please wear your belt. |

Sea is right, many states can ticket you for no seat belt alone.
Short of most of the above advice to wear it, I'd treat it like any other ticket - be submissive and humble, treat the officer with respect, and don't try any tricks - then they are more likely to give you a warning. |

They have cameras on board their cars (cruisers). Not wearing a seat belt, you have a ticket, that is in California. |

I dont know about other states, but i do believe that here in Wisconsin they dont need a reason to pull you over. They can pull you over simply for not wearing your seat belt. So there is no point trying to put it on after they turn on there lights. your already busted. Just wear it and there are no problems.. |

As the father who's had to helplessly hold his daughter who was crying uncontrollably when her best friend was killed in a simple automobile accident because she didn't have her seat belt on...
I can only say..... Wear the belt. |

As the cop is pulling you over you make sure that you're pulling your seat belt across you and clicking it in...They can't stop you for seatbelt alone...I've done this several times and haven't been ticketed for it yet.. |

Even tho they get really mad at this - as soon as you stop get out of the vehicle - officer cannot prove you didn't have it on. Then they'll yell at you to get back in vehicle. |
