im 19 turning 20 wants to learn to drive what should i do? study handbook go to a driving school? what tips do you have as i am very scared to drive but i want a good driving job so help plz

Here are some tips:
-YES. Start studying the drivers manual! (I believe you can order these by mail through your DMV or get them at a public library). Because you are over eighteen, you shouldn't have to take any learner's permit course. You could almost probably pass the permit test without even reading and studying the manual, it's that easy.
-Once you start driving, don't try to multitask! (Such as talking on the phone, eating, putting makeup on, messing with the radio..etc).
-Also, ALWAYS check your blindspots before switching lanes - I see a lot of accidents happen because of this in my city.
-Also, be conscious of busses and semi trucks. Don't cut off semi trucks or try to race busses (at least in my state, busses must be yielded to). Doing things like this endanger yourself and pretty much everyone around you. Just be smart about driving! And also, SO much knowledge comes with experience, so once you start driving, you'll learn all types of things and hopefully become a good and attentive driver that way. =] |
