I got mine when i was 17, but i know some people who are 20 that don't have their drivers license yet! Someone in my girlfriends family didn't get his license till he was about 22! It's not uncommon for people to wait till after they turn 18 to get a license. Its cheaper since you don't have to do the class, and if you never really needed one before 18, why not?!

I am alot older then 18 and I have never had a license, ever. If you live in an area that provides you with alternative transportation then it's really not needed. However if you live in a very small town with no bus systems/cabs ect, then it's even better. It means your drivers test will actually be pretty easy. If you are having trouble with getting your license for reasons such as anxiety I suggest you move to a city where you will not even realize for the most part that you do not have a car.

It just depends on the person. Some people choose to wait, because they don't have a car or whatnot. So don't worry, there's a lot of people that don't have their licenses yet.

My sister was eighteen when she got hers. She just never had time. Don't worry about it. Also my friend is 19 and doesn't have a car cause he lives on campus and can walk everywhere so it really isn't a big deal.
