Are all the ford explorers rear wheel drive?

- If it's a 2WD or 4WD versions they will be 100% 2 wheel drive either full time or in 4x2 mode respectively. The 4x4's will be computer controlled at 98% rear/2% front (baseline) and altered as needed when in 4WD AUTO & all 4 in 4WD LOW.
- If it's a All Wheel Drive (AWD) it will be controlled by a computer just like in the 4WD mode above.

yes when it has 2 wheel drive it is rear wheel. when it is 4x4 and out of 4 wheel drive it is rear wheel drive

Most of them are, there are a few all wheel drives but no front wheel drives that I know of.

yes ,they come in rear wheel drive and 4 wheel drive models .
