As for the big rims, no, not unless they violate some local ordinance where you live. As for tinted windows, yes - absolutely yes - especially the darker the windows.
I personally go after window tint if I can't tell how many people are in the car or what the gender is of the person driving. |

window tint, sort of, only once they have already pulled you over, but unless its darker than legal they cant do anything about it, besides get mad and write you a higher speeding ticket than they normally might have. |

Yes, they are. Deeply tinted windows are a public safety hazard because they cut down the driver's view through the windows, so in cloudy, rainy, snowy weather and at night, the chances of obstacle collisions increase... and some obstacles happen to be pedestrians in crosswalks, other cars turning and so on. Police consider them a safety hazard on their jobs because of the number of cops who've been shot on the job by drivers and passengers in vehicles with deeply tinted windows during routine traffic stops.
Lighter tinted windows are much less of a 'magnet'. If the car windows are tinted, but any normal person can see 4 or 5 people in the car, then it's not so much a hassle. |

Tinted windows look the best on light colored vehicles white etc. you get the contrast thing going on.Leave the big rims for high horsepower classic muscle cars!!!!!!!! P.S. If you go with tinted windows have a pro do it at there shop not some fly by nite outfit or someone who knocks on your door,look under window tinting in yellow pages it's not very spendy,it's easy to spot a job done by amature air bubbles,pelling off etc. |
