..so it's not definite then...thank goodness...on some fast, safe A, roads it would be ridiculous to put a blanket 50mph limit... Some dangerous roads, though, where many accidents occur would benefit from such a limit. Drivers would be more likely to obey sensible limits.....I doubt that they would if it were a blanket stupidly slow limit.

Worst part about this is that they will give councils the job of working it out. In my experience council committees have the combined IQ of an amoeba and will fudge this up completely. The government will hold their hands up as normal and claim it is nothing to do with them. Motorist is stuffed either way in the name of safety. Despite all evidence pointing the other way.

Another reason to vote this mob out. Heck, I will even vote liberal to achieve this and that is saying something for me.
