Why would you want to? When I was a kid, my neighbor went through the windshield of her moms car. Her face looked like hamburger. Does that convince you that seat belts are a good thing? |

that will vary by state. if you're on private property you are pretty-much untouchable, unless the property is patrolled by a security service that is entrusted to enforce the vehicle code of the city, state, or county. |

If its that important to you, move to Indiana and buy a pickup truck. You can drive an any road in the state w/o one if you in a vehicle that is registered as a truck, unless its a commercial vehicle.. |

Most states have seat belt laws that are secondary laws--meaning that the police can not stop you for not wearing a seatbelt, but if you are doing something else wrong, they can stop you and write you for the seatbelt violation too. You can however not wear seatbelts on all private roads, and parking lots but I would not recommend it. |

Depending on where you live. It is required where I live and I'm glad it is.
You should always wear your seatbelt no matter what, It saved me twice. If not, I would probably be dead. |

Technically illegal and you can be ticketed. Here in Illinois, they were considering a law allowing police to pull people over for not buckling up instead of just ticketing for it if they pulled them over for other offenses and caught them without a seat belt on. Not sure if it passed or not. |
