Are you driving a car, how do you react on this?

If you are driving on the road then you encountered the most unfriendly, angry & dangerous behavior behind you that never stop swearing and putting the horn because someone in front of you was an old person that taking time to drive then a a big trailer truck on the next lane almost taken your lane.

You can't control what others do, but you CAN control what YOU do
Don't let other drivers control your own sense of good judgement. Yes, they might be irritating, but it is their problem. Just don't let it become your problem...............in the above scenario you describe, I would definitely keep an eye on that irate driver behind you, but would also allow a managable space in front of me so that I have time and space to brake if necessary........as for the truck driver, he may have been distracted, and just can't "swerve" back into his lane like a smaller vehicle is able to do.............there is a shoulder on your left and right, and if necessary, you could temporarily use it to avoid being hit.
Also, get into the habit of steering as straight as possible when lane changing. It helps to look well ahead up your intended path of travel (forward) when actually making that lane change.
Road rage is out there. Those of us who drive within the law and are sensible must unfortunately babysit those who lack in these areas. If a driver is doing something which is dangerous, I write down the descripton of the vehicle, lic. number, time of day, location, and report it to the police.
Anyone who has driven any length of time and has experience has also experienced road rage. These drivers are the bullies of the roadways and we have to deal with them in a rational and intelligent manner, refusing to stoop to their level of stupidity.

Seriously, if it isn't more than honking and swearing, just leave them in their stupidity. I believe the old person will be wise enough not to care. If it becomes physical, then take a picture of the guy with your cellphone and call the police. |

No I am not driving a car.
To answer your second question, I would just get on with life, because that's what happens.
Drivers are not required to be friendly to eachother. If the person is ACTUALLY being dangerous, you need to decribe in which way. |

Wow sounds like you've been through the ringer if that happened to you. I guess just try to stay as calm as possible. Until the trailer truck passed and then angry driver passed. Then when it was safe I'd pass the older driver. |
