should i get a backless or regular booster seat for my 4-year-old? i'm told it depends on the type of car. we have a subaru outback wagon, a toyota 4runner and access to a toyota camry. which is safer?

the car doesnt make a difference. On a regular car seat, the shoulder belt goes through the seat near the top. If your child's shoulders are above that, then get a backless.
