Garmins are in my opinion the best GPS out there. They have great calculations and rerouting programs. If you want an entry level GPS go for the Garmin Nuvi 200. Customer reviews gave it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. And is right at $150.

Why would you spend $500.00 on a Gps when you could spend less then $10 on a map. Haven't you heard on the news people ending up in the desert on vacation because of their gps not working. Hope thats not you.
