Breathalyzer for Drunk driving question?

I got caught for drunk driving and blew a score of 135 in the machine... what does this mean? how high is that? in what units is it counted? how drunk was i?

In 1954, Borkenstein invented his breathalyzer, which used chemical oxidation and photometry to determine alcohol concentration

The fact your asking "how drunk was I" should be a good indication! In australia you would have been nearly three times the legal limit. The device measures your blood alcohol concentration. They are generally very accurate! DRINK DRIVING IS STUPID!!

My husband used to work with the man who invented the 'breathalyzer.'
It was invented as a "party game." He was horrified that it was being used as a tool in law enforcement, as it was never intended as such!

Who knows what a score of 135 means! A friend's teenaged son was arrested with a score of 'less than .01.' I guess most of us (stone sober) would register 'less than .01!'

If I were you, I'd sure be looking for a good lawyer who specializes in this type of case.
