yes but observe the speed rating on it and never put a temp spare on your drive axle if is a different size tire (meaning height wise) than the regular ones it is bad for the drive train read your manual it will back up what i have told you |

The donut spare is not meant for regular use. That's why the sidewall says "Temporary Use Only". And there is a maximum speed too. 50 mph for a short distance. Only drive on the freeway long enough to get OFF. Having one of four wheels a different size will really change how your vehicle handles, especially at speed.
As far as the guy who drove that way for a year, well, I've done some stupid stuff and lived, but not that stupid! |

Just don't drive faster than 50-55mph and don't drive further than 45 miles. |

You can, but I would not recommend driving more than about 50 miles. Spare tires wear more quickly than your regular tires. |

Yes, with the top speed of 50 mph (miles per hour). Donut (spare) tire is designed as a temporary replacement until the flat tire is replace or fixed. It should be driven in short distances but not all the time. |

yes, but don't go over 55 and 50 would actually be safer. Since you will probably be driving below the speed limit put your emergency lights on. also, drive very safely; no crazy lane changes, etc...
there will be others who may say that you can drive faster and you certainly can but the tire isn't made for high speeds or long distances or both. the tires are made to get you out of the middle of nowhere to the nearest tire shop to fix your old tire or replace it. |

yes, but i believe manufacturers ask that you do not drive over 55mph, or longer than a few days. |

Yes you can, but can't go too fast and try not to make sharp turns. You should stay in the slow lane.

Yes for a short period. Not only is the donut not meant for extended use but it may cause your allignment to go out and other problems.
If that is not reason enough, it may be justification for getting a ticket if the police think its unsafe. |

yea my freind has been on his donut for more than a year even tho ur not supposed to and he goes 80mph+ on the freeway with it
