Can I legally carry my handgun on a bicycle?

Michigan is an open carry state, which allows anyone legally allowed to own a pistol to carry it in a holster on their belt, so long as it's not tucked under a shirt. I passed 2 cops riding yesterday and I don't know if they didn't notice, or didn't care, but they didn't mess with me. I haven't had any problems yet, just wanna know the law in case I do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You answered your own question. If your state allows open carry you're good to go. Just make sure it's in plain sight.
