Can a 1997 Chevy Malibu be switched from 205 60 r15 tires over to 215 70 r15 tires?

Im wondering if a 1997 Chevy Malibu be switched from 205 60 r15 tires over to 215 70 r15 tires and will it do any damage to the car? Does it matter that the new tires wouldnt be as wide as the old tires and are taller. The new tires are all weather SUV tires. Thanks.
Additional Details
The reason I ask is I have 5 brand new tires on my 1997 Geo Tracker but the Tracker has now died and I would love to use the new tires on the Malibu if possible.
