Can a low speed accident hit to the passenger side cause brain damage?

i was sitting as a passenger in a car turning from a red light, doing about only 10 mph. the guy driving out of a parking lot was doing about 25 or 30, hitting the passenger side back tire. this made our car whip around and go into the same parking lot he had just sped out of. i've been experiencing some back pain and neck pain and a headache. i was wondering if this speed and position the car hit could have caused me to have brain damage such as bleeding?
Additional Details
i dont mean being mentally disabled from it, i mean tissue damage or bleeding.

Judging by your writing skills, I'd say yes.

Unlikely you have brain damage. You are doing a good job of typing and spelling if you have brain damage.

sure you can get serious damage at low speeds. even if you are belted in. the tranfer of motion through your body can cause whiplash or a subluxation of the spine.
