When looking for an answer for this question 2 factors come to mind.
1. How sharp is/was the glass?
2. How new and durable are your tires?
Also keep in mind how worn out are your tires. If you have brand new tires or your tires still have good amount of thread on them then you should be fine if the glass is about 1/2 inch since it would most likely get stuck in the rubber.
And of course if your always concerned about it just stop by an auto tire shop (i.e. Just Tires, Firestone, or Big O Tires).
Click on the links below and you would be sent to the page where you could just type in your zip code and it would give you the closest to where you live.
NOTE:
1. Give them a call first tire shops are usually busy you don't want to wait 2 hours so they can check your tires if they are fine.
2. These companies should give you a free tire check ask them when you call.

Glass from cars is tempered glass. It shatters into a million little pieces, like grains of rice, and they don't have very sharp edges. You're not going to get a flat from driving over them, but a piece might get stuck in the tread and slowly work its way into the tire.
Modern radial tires have belts around them just under the tread made of some very tough fiber, sometimes steel wire. This makes them much harder to puncture. If you do get a puncture, it shows up as a slow leak, and you have to add air like once a week.
The most dangerous thing is for a tire to deflate all at once, but this is VERY rare these days. |

I have gotten a flay from glass, wood, sharp rock, nails. It just depends on how it hits the tire. I couldn't tell you exactly how big a piece it needs to be but just avoid scattered things on the road and if you get a flat you get a flat. It happens and most tire places will fix it for free. |

Yes it can and any size will do it, all it has to do is penetrate the tire.
Then you drive the vehicle with the piece of glass in it over and over and yes it could blow out. |

I don't think it can unless its sharp and sticking straight up on rare occasion maybe. |
