If it's determined that your talking on that stupid %#@&{? cellphone you so dearly love has caused the accident then you're looking at criminal negligence causing death, this could bring a manslaughter conviction with anywhere from 2-15 years.
They could even push for, and get, vehicular homicide, with a sentence of up to 25 years.
If this is the case then you better stock up on Preparation H. |

Depending on how the D.A. decides to approach it you could be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. Which is similar to the charge Brandy may face. Or simply put....the D.A. could make an example out of you and give you life w/o parole. After that their will be a nationwide campaign to ban cell phones while driving,it will succeed and the law will be named after the individual you killed. May God have mercy on your soul. |

Felony hell, I hope you get the death penalty. Nine times out of ten when I see moronic driving, I look over and see a cell phone involved. in fact one lady in Glendale was driving on the wrong side of the road while on the cell, and when I leaned on the horn and swerved, she looked at me funny and gave me the finger! |

its a felony in sc if someone dies in an accident and being on a cell phone if not mistaken is not only neglegence but recklessness .. being allowed to drive is a privaliege that shouldnt jsut be taken lightly... im sorry this happened to you |

It's a felony...it's called vehicular homicide. You have to remember, your car is a lethal weapon and you must exercise better care.
I hope for your sake this isn't the case, because you sure as heck can be charged with it. |
