yes but just remember to review the list of things that cannot be carried on a flight...no liquids, gels, etc. And your Rx must have your name on it as well. Good Luck and Happy Traveling! |

You could but it will still be counted as a carry-on.
In a crowded airport, a thief could easily undo the little latch on a fanny pack and be gone in an instant. I would not put such vital items in one.
I suggest a small purse with shoulder strap...put strap around your neck and let the purse hang in front. Might look strange but hey, better to look strange than stuck without your passport and other stuff.
I also put my cash in a tiny fabric wallet and pin it inside my bra. I keep only a small amount of cash in the actual purse. |

BritishAirways.com has the most current info on what can be carried onboard a flight. They include the dimensions of the "one" carry on you are allowed. They give the dimensions in metric so you will have to do the conversion to inches. |

Sure but they are still going to check it out. Also, Fanny packs are so out dated and make one look really on the tubby side. Opt for a nice little shoulder hand bag, Much nicer! |

Depends on the airline, the airport and the level of security.
On a recent trip (2 weeks ago) from Brussels to JFK, we were handed a list of things you COULD carry on the plane and a clear plastic bag to put it in. The list included a book, eye glasses, travel documents, wallet, cell phone. EVERYTHING else had to be checked, including purses. |

Definitely, only things prohibited are liquids, including perfume. you can carry your travel documents in a fanny pack or in a purse, its not a problem (unless it has a sharp, pointy edge ;-) ) |
