in the UK, the LAW states..."seatbelts MUST be worn where fitted"...if they are not fitted - you can't wear them.
Just for your own peace of mind & the children's safety continue to do what you are doing & not having them unrestrained.
I own several Omegas, the saloon version can't be made to take 4 rear belts (has three proper 3 point belts). The estate however CAN and sometimes is fitted with an extra row of seats (for 2) int what would be the boot area. |

NO. however, if you put 4 squids in the back, so long as the three seatbelts are being used, plod will let you away.
they arent total jobsworths. and they dont expect you to run a taxi service to take the kids to the pantomime... so so long as the kids are sittig down, and not hanging out of the windows like a cattle truck..you should be OK. if in doubt ask at the station... where traffic plod would rather tell you, than nick you.

If the under 12 year old children are under 1.35 meters in height then they will need to be in booster seat by law, people are having trouble getting more than 2 of these in the back of cars - check with your insurance company because I beleive if you are carrying more people than the car is designed to carry then you wont be insured and apart from that as the others have said I think it will be illegal to carry 4 in the back anyway |

Its possible to fit more seat belts, but it could be expensive. If you do fit more belts, the installation must be approved by an MOT testing station - not just an MOT garage - otherwise your car will fail its next MOT test. Fitting seat belts with bolts and big washers is not going to be enough. |

No! Your car has five seats, two at the front and three at the rear which must each have a functional seat belt. It is not feasible to fit extra seats so no point trying to fit extra seat belts. |

You can't fit another seat belt since it needs anchoring points to attach to and those available are already used by the three belts you have fitted, they have to take a lot of force in a crash so you can;t just attache them to any part of the car body, sorry. |
