Fred3663 is correct and the highway code is the law so park without lights or against the flow will get you a fine and may even get you some points on your licence!
Worse still, it could cause an accident! |

You can't park in a road in the first place, but if you are FORCED to stop on the road then you have to have your hazard lights on. You are supposed to make sure you can be clearly seen as well. As to parking lights I wouldn't really say you need them if you have your 4-ways on, but you may want to put them on. |
