i use both feet due to it hurts my back and hip to keep switching with right foot due to old injury. Some instructors said yes as long as you have full control of car, others said NO you will fail! How can you all say different things?! I do put left foot to one side when im not braking. Please help!! Any examiners out there to tell me please xx

i don't think so.
you can't do left foot braking in a manual (on the test!)
there is always a chance that in an emergency, you concentrate on putting the left foot on the brake, and forget to remove the right from the accelerator.
depending which is more powerful, you might not stop.
by using the same foot for accelerator and brake, the foot has to be taken off the accelerator to brake. |

im not an examiner but im sure the nice examinars would let you!
an examinar failed my mum because of one tinsy mistake(she forgot to indicate at a roundabout). and she got failed even thought she did everything else right! im sure you will be allowed. but at the hardest of times with examiners there is a 15% chance that you wont be allowed to. try your best and hope you pass you test! |

The advice that you will fail is correct.
I was an examiner in Australia and, while our standards are not as high (though they should be!!!!), any use of the left foot in an auto is considered a fail.
If the injury is bad enough, find out about disabled regulations before you take the test. |
