check the site and the law requirements are listed there for kids in the front - height etc |

I would probably not let her sit in the front, as the airbag may be an issue. The airbag, due to its deployment power, could harm the child in an accident.
Unless you have a car where you can switch off the passenger airbag (many regular cab pick up trucks have this feature) I would recommend leaving her in the backseat, in the booster seat. |

Most cars have a sticker on the sun visors that indicate that it is unsafe for a child under 12 to ride in the front. This is due to the dangers of the front airbags and the harm they can do to a small child if deployed. |

Yes, provided the safety belt in the front is restraining her properly when she uses the booster seat, it is quite OK for her to ride in the front seat. If you have airbags, read the warnings carefully. |

Well as long as she uses her booster seat as she still is under the required height, then yes she can sit in the front.
As long as that if you have an airbag fitted to the car on passanger side IT MUST BE TURNED OFF!!!!! |

sitting in back is always safer....air bag in front could be fatal to small children ! |

U can bend the law,but dont break the law.
use the booster seat and use the safety belts to secure her safely. |

Yes she can as far as i know - you can have a car seat in the front as long as its forward facing so I would say a booster seat is ok. |

Her safety's always first, just when she's tall enough, and absolutely NO booster seats! |

I always thought the rule was 12 and under back seat. I would have her sit in the back just for safety purposes. She may want to, but why take a chance of her getting severely hurt in case an accident would occur? |

it is if your airbag cuts off by switch and/or when the weight of the person is not heavy enough to activate it safely in the event of a crash. Other than that it is extremely dangerous.
Check your owners manual or ask the dealer/service manager were you purchased your car. Depending on the model, make and saftey features you may or may not be able to do this. |

Why push your luck? Just tell her to sit in the back....it could save her life. |

Please, for her sake, have her seated in the back. In the middle, if possible. |

It is ILLEGAL for anyone under the age 12 years old to sit in the front regardless of whether they need a boster cushion or not. |

If she doesn't meet the required height, then no. |

From what I understand, all kids under 16 belong in the back seat. If she must ride in the front, most cars have an option to turn off the airbag. Airbags can be really dangerous for children, even for women (or men) under 5' tall.
Can she sit in the backseat in the middle? Maybe you could get one of those mirrors that suction under your rearview mirror so you guys could see each other better without needing to turn around. |

Why would you risk injuring you daughter? Anwer is no She should be in the back seat with a booster seat..Just say you were to get in an accident and take the size of your child as a factor(okay) do you think she would be okay? Or do you think she would do better in the back? My son is 10 and still sits in the back..... |

i wouldnt do that cause you could get a real bad ticket and booster seats are supose to be in the back of the car. You might have to go to jail for a while or pay a lot of money$$lol. But yea i wouldnt do it she will just have to wait untill she get taller i guess. srry to hear about that. |

Don't know for sure - depends what country you live in. I would say if she is securely strapped in it would be ok.
However an accident whereby a passenger can go through the windscreen can happen if seated in front or back.
Just weigh up the dangers either way.
Drive carefully |

For safety's sake keep her in the back seat. !!!!!
Laws vary from state to state. In my state; you could get a ticket and be held criminally responsible if you had and accident and a child under height/weight were hurt or killed while sitting in front seat. |

she would be safer if you put her in the back seat even if you couldn't see her. |

Well it depends on how much she weighs. If she is over like I believe 100 pounds then it depends. If there is an airbag in the car and she is underweight it could possibly hurt her or kill her so it's best to have her in the back for now until she is about 12, Depending on how much she weighs. |

i think nothing wrong will happen to her if you let her stay in front. aren`t you a good driver? put her a seatbelt and you can enjoy a ride together. people should do how they feel like doing. |
