Can nasal spray cause an ignition interlock device to fail you?

I was wanting to know if generic flonase (fluticasone propionate) can cause an ignition interlock device to fail when you go to blow into it.
I got in my car the other day and blew into the interlock device and it failed me and I was puzzled. I just read on the side of the flonase box that it contains 0.25% w/w phenylethyl alcohol in it.
Could this have been the cause of me failing?
For anyone who doesn't know an ignition interlock device is a small computer that is placed into your car when you are convicted of a DUI and the judge gives you driving priviledges. The interlock device has to be blown into and passed (no alcohol in system) before you are allowed to start the vehicle.

I had mine fail me for pizza, I also sprayed my truck with fabreeze that has alcohol in it and it gave me trouble for a month, I've also heard about some of these Arizona teas setting them off, if you eat raw carrots or apples they ferment in your belly and can set them off, and if you miss a meal or are diabetic your body produces kerotene which can also set it off |

that stuff comes out at speed you would not exspect from a nasal spray... It might of broke something! |

Well it does have alcohol in it, I guess any amount of alcohol could do it but I would call your PO or whoever you report to and ask him/her. Let them know that you used the nasal spray and that the device failed you. Ask if that is normal, chances are the device isn't working right. |
