yes, he can. However, if you want him to be safe, he should not be. Children in the front seat with an airbag sit differently and lower than adults, so when the air bag explodes, it hits on their face instead of their chest. This can create large amounts of pressure on the face and break many bones. In severe but rare instances, a child may become decapitated (his head comes off). The bones of a young child also are not fully developed, even if they are tall for their ages, so they are more at risk for damage than an adult is. If you do need to put your child in the front seat, put the seat back as far as it will possibly go, to avoid them most injury.

The legal age is 12. Most parents let their children at age 10. It all depends on their height and weight.If i were you then i would keep your child in the back seat for a few more years to be more safe.

Yes they can - but I don't think that is the question you are really asking. I think you want to know "should" your l0 year old be in the front seat with a front air bag? I think it entirely depends on the size of the child. If a person is over 110 pounds they should be safe in that front seat but if smaller it could be a danger. Didn't your car come with a brochure? I am certain you are more interested in your sweetie's safety than anything else. Put the kid in the back. -k-

Yes, as long as the cops don't see you. If you are worried, save some cash and look for a car with a setting where you can turn the airbag on and off
