Can you find the person who hit your car with no information?

You should report it to the police and have them do an incident report on it. The police won't care who hit your car and they won't even try to find them unless someone was hurt.

But and this is a big BUT that your insurance company doesn't want you to know, but the cops know it and that's why they won't do anything. If you have UN INSURED MOTORIST coverage on your car. Your insurance company has to fix any damage to your car with no deductible to you and then it is up to your insurance company to find out who hit you and recoup their damages if they want to pursue it. Sometimes, it's better that it was a hit and run, because there is no one to argue as to who's fault it was etc.

Yes file a report with the police for a few reasons. Your insurance my not pay if you don't report it.I know the police check body shops and if his car has traces of your paint they may be able to match it.Lastly he or she may report you hit them. Report it.Just to cover yourself.

file a hit and run police report. canvas the neighborhood for possible witnesses. never know who might have seen something!

You should atleast inform the police.

They might be able to get someone to look and see what kind of damage was done to the other persons car. (as in where they hit you with there car) Maybe even get a guess as to what color the car was.

Most Business' don't have the time to go through CCTV if they have it, and still would not if they have Security because of liability issues. If you would have done a police report maybe the deputies could have helped you out. Otherwise, without a witness there is nothing that can be done with a hit and run.

I could and would, but if you mean would the Police find out who did, I would say that they would not go out of their way and unless they stumbled on a car that was similar with tell tale signs it was in a wreck, then yes, otherwise or until then the unlicensed driver is in big trouble if reported because they would claim the wreck would not have occurred if you were not on the street. (or the unlicensed driver) but I would fess up anyway, because like someone else said, there could be a witness.

Very little to no chance. I hate hit-and-runs. :( I hope those idiot drivers get bad karma!

unfortunately with no info your kind of screwed. if you at least got his plate number you would have had something to work with but with nothing your SOL sorry...I feel your pain someone did that to my truck
