It will be very expensive & not worth the cost involved.
Especially if this is an older car that is actually made of steel & metal instead of these new plastic cars. |

Air bag as very intricate mechanism and so if it is at all possible be a very expensive exercise. Which basically means it would be wiser that you sell this car and buy a newer one which already has factory-fitted air bags. Most cars after 1994 have airbags. |

Wow, that is a really good question. I would think that a car that is actually equipped to hold an air bag, would already have one. I know they go in the dash...and of course, it has to have a place to pop out of. ..therefore the car would have to have the space necessary for containment. Sounds like work, but maybe with the proper car parts it could be done. Why dont you check out a ford or chevy or dodge, etc. website. maybe do a search on installing airbags. I will be on the edge of my seat! LOL. |
