Car accident....Is this normal?

This morning my friend and I got into a car accident. (His car, he was driving) When we crashed and hours after that, all he was doing was crying over his car. He didn't really care about the people we hit or me. He did briefly ask if we were alright, but his car got all the attention and worries. I am mad at him. One cause I got hurt and two cause we are very lucky to be alive.Is this normal for guys? To cry and worry more about their cars than the people that were involved in the accident? Trying to understand this, thanks

Accident happened at midnight. Spent most of the day filling out papers and at the hospital. Just came home 15 min ago. I ended up with cracked ribs, so not really ok

Nt all the guys does tat. being safe in car accident is god blessing. moreover, car can be repaired bt js think about human. do u think u can repair human being. ask ur friend to thank god and next time drive carefully. |

some people are like that. they are just so in love with there cars. im the same way if my truck ever got damaged i would be pissed only cause it took me alot of money to get it were it is at now. i take very good care of my stuff my 01 dodge ram doesnt have a scratch or dent or rust. its perfect |

like you said you were ok the car wasn't of course he w/be more worried about the car than you especially since you are so ok that you had time to ask the question.
p.s if you're injured you can file an injury claim against his policy. |

Sometimes being upset about an obvious problem with little life threatening impact, distracts our minds from going to the "what could have happened" senarios that could really frighten us. He may be in a little bit of shock. |

Well he probably was concerned about you, but who wouldnt worry about their car? You dont know what he could have possibly went through to even get the car and if nobody was hurt enough to have to go to the hospital but his car got totaled I would be crying too haha |
