My father in law used to be a Fire Fighter and said that a lot of these stickers cause lots of confusion. They have gone out to rescue people from car wrecks, only to find a "Baby on Board" sticker, and have continued to trawl the wreckage for the baby or child that is shown by this sticker as being on board. Often they have put themselves at risk to try and save the little person, and then they find out that in actual fact that the baby is not in the car at all.
So please remember if you have one of these stickers, take them off the car if your child is not on board. |

I've often thought the same thing, like "Yeah, thanks for warning me there's a baby on board cos I was just about to shunt you. I wont do it now!"
To be honest, I think these stickers are used by proud parents, trying to let the World know that they have chidren. |

I think you need to stop whinging and get a life so what if they have these stickers up its there personal preference.
If that upsets you so much you must have a very tedious life.
Take a chill pill stop moaning !!!

I totally agree. Not to mention that loading your car windows up with crap stickers, impairs your vision. |

I think the purpose of these stickers is to make some other random women go 'aaaawwwwww' so then they calm down forget whatever it was they arguing about with their husband. |

I'm with you. I've wondered whether I should a target on my own car, with a notice proclaiming "Nothing but old ladies here, so do your damndest!" |

I know, really. Is it to tell you which car not to hit when you lose control of the car? |

A lot of these people should put the stickers on the windscreen facing them to remind them there's a baby on board because they seem to think the sticker gives them the right to pull out at junctions forcing cars to break heavily. I find quite often they are more a danger to the babies or children in the car than other road users are. |

Of course they should not be stopped. We are not to the point (but getting there) where we police pet peeves. The
signs are not about driver education. They are about child
pride, Considering that people in our society leave millions to dogs and not their grandchildren, and children are starting to
be the most abused minority. I like to see the pride of species. |

They are a good idea, BUT you must remove them if there is no baby onboard.
As to inform emergency services there is a baby in the vehicle. |

The ONLY abuse you should receive here is why must YOUR little tiny pet peeve force a law against others right to place whatever pride, or declaration one wants on a personal possession. It is not a MAJOR obstacle for your viewing of other traffic. Find a real problem that effects you directly, and concentrate your energies on that instead of silly stuff you don't like. Just don't look at stuff on peoples car, very simple. +++++++++ I never claimed you're suggesting a law just so you a clear.
********* Oh yeah thanks in advance for the neg. ratings just because I don't have an agreeable answer to the askers opinion. You people (rating negs)need to see the light and wake up to the real issues. |

actually where we live we delibrately put them on to warn traffic because otherwiser motorists would delibrately tailgate and move so closely to us that we risk rolling back and hitting their car on the hill |
