Cars driving through the green man?

I would contact your local police station, they may well refer you to their traffic department so that you can make an official complaint. They may well have received other complaints, in which case they could possibly place an unmarked police vehicle to check the situation. You could also take the registration number of vehicles contravening the traffic lights and report them to the police. They will perform a vehicle check to ascertain the vehicle keeper and the driver could well be prosecuted or at least be given a stern warning letter.

The Tank

If the cars are driving past a red light then that is an offence which must be reported to the police - nobody else: Not your council and Not to the DVLA and Not to anybody in Denmark.

Note the EXACT time, and numbers of the offending vehicles. You will also need supporting evidence. A witness such as other people waiting at the crossing with you will do.
Have a look and see if there is a street CCTV camera pointing at your crossing.
Take a camera with you for a few days and take your own photos.

report it to the local police station with there number or take a photo of there number .i hope they send a unmarked car or a plane clothed police man hell he deserves to get caught

In Northern Ireland there are two authorities you could contact - The PSNI (Police, http://www.psni.police.uk/ ) and the Roads Service (http://www.roadsni.gov.uk/ ).

You could also ask your local councillor to raise the issue with the relevant authorities, or even your local MLA, MP or MEP.

If the green man is flashing the amber traffic light is flashing and traffic can go if there's no one on the crossing. If the green man isn't flashing the traffic light is red and they're braking the law. Report th incidents to the police, perhaps with registration numbers and descriptions of the cars involved.

Your local authority, they will have a highways department.

Perhaps we should look to Denmark for guidance on this issue, they are really hot on road safety. They also put a lot of onus on the pedestrian - they will actually tut and curse if you walk out on an empty road without waiting for the green man!
