Was clocked, vascar, & other doing 84 in a 40. I am 17 years old, first offense, and the cop was going the other way on the highway, he turned around (there was a turn off in the middle of the highway) and flicked his lights on and pulled me over. Is there anything i can do? Any things to say, cause im going to lose my license... Thanks Alot!

What you can do is learn all of the bus or subway schedules where you live because you may be relying on public transportation for quite some time. |

Not much you can do in this sitution. As you said you will lose your license but that depends on how many offenses you've had. Now you said this was your first offense so you may keep your license unless they told you, you were going to lose it. Now if that is the case, then that is because of your speed. I recently received a ticket and I looked at the fines for the speeding ticket. I saw that the maximum fine was $500 and that was based on how far above the speed limit you were going. Since you were going well above 40 mph above the limit then there is good reason for such a fine and license suspension. Also look at your age, you are 17 so they won't let you off so easy. So my suggestion to you is to take whatever consequences. I'm sure you have to go back to driving school, pay the fine and go through the process of getting your license again. |

you should have thought about losing your license before you got picked up, now your going to pay, I was the same way when I was 17, had so many speeding tickets and loud exhaust tickets but never lost my license over it but was very costly. |
