yes u do, just to warn everybody i just failed my road test before i got out of the parking lot. Even though my instructor was a walrus(appearance and physique), i accumulated 23 pts before i got out of the parking lot because of this, and you only get a total of 25pts before you fail! JUST A HEADS UP<<<<<STOP!

Unless there is a pedestrian in, or about to enter a crosswalk, or if there is a stop sign in your direction, you do NOT have to stop at every crosswalk.
You could cause a collision by having someone run into your rear end for stopping without a good reason. You could also, certainly get a citation for obstructing traffic.
You don't seem to have a clear understanding of the law, or of why you actually failed your test. (23 points before you even GET to that crosswalk!) Now, you are passing along BAD information that may cause others to fail their tests.

You dont have to stop at a crosswalk UNLESS there is a stop sign in front of if, which there is in most cases, or there are pedestrians in it. So you probably failed for running a stop sign, or failing to yield to pedestrians. |
