Hello, my son is 3 and 1/2 year old, weights 36 lb and 39'' tall. I need to purchase a new car seat for him. I am not sure about what to get. I know he is ok to use the low back booster (backless), but I know that is more safe to get the high-back because its protects the head better in side impact collisions. On the other hand, my car have the head rests so then if I put a high-back booster it will be kind of bulky and I donīt know if will be comfortable for the room in his legs, since he seats behind the drivers seat.
I need your best advice!

I have the same problem. My son is around the same weight and height as a 4 yr old but is only 2 1/2. I have given you a link to the car seat I have fro my son. He seems to fit in it nice and snug with the 5 point harness and it has a long back which is exactly what i was looking for. |
