I live in Deer Park New York and i am 15 waiting to go on 16 in December and i want to get my permit but people are saying they're changing the age to 17 after November.

Yes 15 and they can't make no changes for driving until January because that is the beginning of the year. Now they can give you heads ups about stuff like that.

it used to be 15 and a half, but they changed it to 15.
