Nope, but I have called in quite a few car drivers (while driving my truck), using the DUI number, that most states have posted on road signs. The driver may not actually be guilty of a DUI, but if you're speeding, swerving through traffic, and not using your turn signals to indicate a lane change......how am I to know you're not drunk? It's rather rewarding to see them pulled over, several more miles down the road.
That probably doesn't directly answer your question, but I do wish that cars had numbers posted on them in the same fashion as trucks. Unfortunately, I don't' think the hotlines could handle all the calls.... |

I called about a truck that almost broad-sided me and sent me on to the shoulder of the road. I don't really care if they're speeding. It just means if I get behind them, I'm not crawling. |

It's none of my business or yours either for that matter. As long as he's not driving unsafely it doesn't matter how fast he's driving. Remember...it's not how fast you drive but how you drive fast that matters. |

If the driver is going well over the speed limit then sure I will. Just like someone driving their car I well call and report them. And well over the limit in my opinion is 10 mph or more. And yes as a truck driver myself I have had to call on both cars and trucks for unsafe driving.
If you saw someone in a car speeding would you call on them. Of course you wont, because the general public thinks that most of the accidents are caused be the truck driver. When in fact more that half of the accidents are caused by the drivers of cars. I'm not say that the truck drivers are not at fault on a lot of the accidents people just need to do some research and find out the truth. |
