Do Asians in the UK who drive all share a family licence?

No lol u just think stupid i no many asians that drive well and get their licence in uk not out of a lucky bag so u need to start thinking before u type something on yahoo answers

As far as I know, each and every person who drives in the UK must have their own licence, no matter how unlikely it might seem at times.
There are a lot of bad drivers on the road - but they seem to come in all shapes, sizes and colour. I think you should be careful when you cast aspersions such as this.

Well as a large number of the 'Asians' in the UK were born here and educated here, it is logical to presume that they had the same sort of driving tuition that you did, passed the same test and are as good a driver as you.

i know of some people that have come to england for work, and they buy a car and use it no licence and no insurance, they are the ones i think you are on about, 25mph in a 50mph zone,pull out in front of others and can not reverse to save there lives, but these people are not born in england, and not living here full time they are just here for a few years work

Here are the facts........
Anyone from a country outwith the EU (and that doesn't just mean Asians) must obtain an International Licence from within their own countries, and these are valid for one year only. After which they must have sat and passed the UK driving test including Theory and Hazard Perception parts.
Also, should the time have elapsed on the International Licence without having passed our tests, then it's possible for these licence holders to apply for an extension or even a renewal of it, although it is not always granted.
To obtain one, they must first of all have a full licence in their country of origin. Some countries don't have the same stringent rules which we have in the UK for being recognised as a qualified driver, and indeed in some places it's more a matter of how much does a licence cost....... nothing to do with having ever driven before..... so it doesn't even have to be being as fortunate as a 'lucky bag'.

For your reference the law is changing...It will soon not be possible to teach a family member or friend to drive, as new legislation will demand that all students are to be trained by an ADI (approved driving instructor)...

You are right to an extent. But if it were significant their insurance premiums would be higher than us indigenous whites. I reckon taxi drivers of all colours tend to be poor as they seem to think they are privileged road users due to their 'profession'..
