Yea depends what the schedule is. Some have 3-12. Three days on four days off with 12 hour shifts. Or some have 4 on four off with 10 hours or 4 on three off with 10 hour. All depends. |

Yes. Cops get days off. They can't work 7 days a week because the job is very stressful especially if you are in the line of duty. Now what they are supposed to do is if there is anything that happens while they are off duty they are required to handle the situation accordingly even if it is their day off. The reason why I say their job can be stressful is because they see deaths on the job. So it is critical to have some time with their family and to have time to themselves so that they do not have a mental break down. Its just normal to have days off which is what most if not all working Americans do have. |
