Do street cameras really work?

do they really take pictures of your car and send you tickets in the mail? or how does it work??

if you run a light will the camera take pictures of you and your car and send you a ticket in the mail?

HI YA Ches,the answer is yes to both parts of your question.
we have them here in the Big Easy, the 1st day in operation
caught over 1,000 violators.they found out the hard way,that
the cameras work just fine.and the old color blind excuse.
doesn't work,so OBEY-OBEY-OBEY.

In canada they take photos from the back and mail them to you.Before that a guy was cheating on his wife she opened the letter . He sued for invasion of privacy and won

If you run a light they'll take a picture of you. Although I do wonder if some of the cameras are fake, just to keep you from running lights.
