driving while chatting on a cell phone is a very dangerous thing drving a car is putting power into the hands of someone who should be well aware of his or her surroundings like watching a baby but having ur favorite music blaring in ur headphones it takes away from what you should be paying close attention too remember even the best drivers have had accidents |

Yes and it is in some areas. I'm on a motorcycle, if you think motorists have a hard time seeing me, you should see the ones who are on the cell phone. I yell at them daily 'dumba**' being the most common... and 'get off the f'n phone'! |

I think it IS illegal is some states. I know what you mean though! I lived in Las Vegas for 10 years and HATED the traffic, but 2 years ago I moved to a small town in Missouri, where there are tons of OLD people that drive SLOOOOW!!! OMG...I would much rather be flipped off by someone that needs to get by, because going 7 in a 25 mph zone is just not happening!!!
The elder either need their license taken away, or they need to re-test to see if they are still able!!! |

Actually, a lot of things people do while driving should be worthy of a ticket, especially if it's enough to cause a wreck.( Notice I didn't say "accident"). When driving, the attn. should be on the road-nothing else. |

well the kinds of people that get on my last nerve are the ones that pull out infront of you then turn like 100 or less feet later. and the ones that go 35 down the road then get pissed when you pass them. |

In most cities it is illegal to drive while celling, it should be. but I talk on the phone while driving. and I think I'm pretty good at it.(thats what we all say) .... I cant stand the people who dont use their signals when changing lanes. |

I GUARANTEE you this lady is quite capable of driving slow in the fast lane and cutting people off without the excuse of a cell phone stuck to her ear. |

Some people can do it successfully. Other can't. Yeah I get REALLY mad when some blonde is in the left lane going 50 in a 65 zone completely wrapped up in her conversation! She could at lease go chill with grandma in the right late. |

I heard that next year in CA, driving while talking on the phone will be illegal. U'll get a ticket. U can only talk on a speaker phone while driving. This is good because it prevents more accidents. Those who don't pay attention or who cut people off get on my nerves. Also those who cause traffic by putting their nose in people's business by slowing 2 look @ accidents. |

Using a mobile whilst driving is illegal - you could incur a £1000 maximum fine if your caught! Take a look at the links I've supplied. The first link is from 2003, the second is FYI only. |

if they can't do two things at once then they shouldn't be on the phone while driving they are so inconsiderate. i would think a bluetooth is cheaper than getting in an accident. |

I absolutely can't stand people who talk on the cell phone while driving. How can they possibly be giving all of their attention to driving when they are on the phone? What in the world could be so important that you can't wait to talk to someone until you are stopped. In California right now there is a bill to make it illegal to talk on a cell phone and drive. I pray that it will pass. |

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! In my state if you get pulled over and the officer belives you where driving poorly because of a cell phone it is an extra $101 fine on top of the fine for what you where doing wrong. |

you always know if someone in front of you is talkin on the phone, because they're always doing dumb sh*t!
Cell Phones are illegal while driving out here in NY and NJ..but that doesn't stop people from talkin on the phone..shoot, I've seen plenty of police officers on the phone themselves..so what kind of examples are they setting??? |
|

No, They don't bother me at all. They're the ones who pay for my new car. I've become rather efficient dealing with insurance companies because of them too. |

There are idiots everywhere. Although these people do piss me off there is not much you can do but get a little road rage and flip them off but they are probably to busy to see you. I just take a deep breath, and move on. life is to short (although people like this could shorten it even more) to get to bent out of shape. And they want to put microwaves in cars. just what we need people cooking, celling, putting on make up and beating the kids while driving. Although I disagree with the law about wearing your seat belt I may start. |
