No. As an EMT I have seen way too many avoidable accidents in residential areas by speeders. Some children, some adults and many elderly. If these people would have just taken the time to slow down, plan better, leave earlier so as not to rush, or just exercised common (which is a misnomer nowadays) sense these unfortuneate incidents could've been avoided. If they want to speed they have race tracks for that. They don't stop to think about what if it were their own child or relative that was crossing the street. |

I don't speed.
But if you are really upset about it, call your local police department. Let them know what time you see the most people speeding and take down license plate numbers or car make and models if you can.
Let them know they can even use your driveway to help catch the speeders. Our local cops here in Southern CA will come out and set speed traps on your street and give out tickets. |

I try not to speed, but some places its hard. We have a road that is a lot of hills and there's a whole stretch with no houses, but the limit is still 30. The hills make it easier to push it...I don't like it when people speed through neighborhoods. |

we drive carefully we have kids so we now it really dangerous for anyone and we don't want them to speed later. |

NO! I don't speed anywhere. I mean even if I'm in a hurry... and if I am then I'll just take "short-cuts" But bottom line.. there's NO excuse for speeding ANYWHERE! |

Just do what I did... go out in your neighborhood around 2-3 AM, and dump 5 or 6 sacks of sacrete across the road, sprinkle heavily with water, and wa la.. instant speedbump. |
