Do you think my boyf is a liabilty?

After 100's of lessons he passed his driving test and got banned for a year within 3 mths, since then he's smashed the back end of his works van causing 7 grands worth of damage (on different occasions) by reversing into the driveway pillar, a barrier, a tree and yesterday he reversed into a groundfloor flat causing the ladders to embedd into the outside wall. creating more damage when he drove frward to free them out. Do you think he should stick with it or give up????

He's either not paying enough attention or he CANNOT. The distinction must be made known or else he or someone else would get hurt. I would get him some medial help to determine whether he's spatially challenged or just doesn't care and doesn't pay attention. Either way he should not drive until he gets cured or starts to care about what he does.

He needs more driving lessons before he drives around people again. Given the way you wrote this, it makes it seem as if he caused this damage to his job's van AFTER he got his license pulled. THAT'S BAD. That can get it pulled permanently. He might have a vision problem. Get that checked out. Also he might want to try relaxing before he drives. He can stick with it, but he needs more practice. And I wouldn't put him on my insurance.

I wouldn't want to be on the road with someone whose driving skill was that poor. Until he can focus, pay attention, and learn to drive properly, he has no business behind the wheel of anything more dangerous than a bicycle.

Perhaps a driving lessons through a private training center would benefit him...or he may simply be someone for whom driving will never be something at which he is comfortable and proficient.

I'm with Kingsna on this one.

I'll also add that in many places (in Canada and USA at least), if certain people are causing lots of insurance claims, then it boosts the insurance premiums charged to *all* drivers. In other words, your bf is costing me money! :D Please get him from behind the wheel and then some help before he ever tries again.

I think you answered this yourself. Keep him off the road. He is a risk to himself, you, and innocent poeple on the road.
